Firmware Update on N70 seems to be causing memory issues

Greets

I recently upgraded my Nokia N70 to the latest version, v5.0638.3.0.1

Since then my phone is complaining about memory shortages when opening Messaging or any other applications. It's a totally random error. When I check memory used it tells me 198MB, (the upgrade allowed me to use a 2GB Kingston memory module) all be it when I check what installed applications, gallery and messaging currently take up, it's about 35MB in total. I can't see where the additional 130MB's is going!?!?!?

I have PLENTY sms's on the phone and have moved messages to be stored on the memory card, I also move them out of the Inbox into seperate folders.

Replying to an open SMS causes the phone to complain about Memory Being full and applications needed to be closed

I'm tired of rebooting my phone every 1hr or reading the sms, going back to Inbox view and replying from that preview, then since most of the sending fails, go to Outbox and resend.

Has anyone else had this issue and what solution could I possibly look at.

No, no, no, 'Memory' error messages refer to RAM, not to flash memory - Nokia's fault for using the same term twice... 8-(

Having said that, it's unlikely that your RAM would be full with running apps given that you keep resetting it.....

Hmm... When you ask for 'Memory' (flash) details for the phone memory, how much free space have you got?

I upgraded the software on my N70 today from version 3 something to version V 5.0638.3.0.1 dated 18-09-06

After this my phone keep rebooting all the time!

Any ideas? This makes me go crazy!
