Really need help on this one and i really do not want to do a hard re-set as i am off on holiday to Dubi in exactly 9 hours.

My problem is i have a message in the outbox which refuses to either send or give me an option to delete the message. I have re-booted the phone a few time and have even tried to do a search using Seq to find the folder in which the message is and delete from there( any one know which folder outbox messages are in.

Oh and a merry merry christmas

robbie

hi and merry christmas to you too! 😃

firstly, there is no other solution that i know off to get rid of that shitty message in your outbox aside from the hard re-set. dont want to give you the code because im not sure. you can check the FAQ section for that.

secondly, if you want to look for that message via seleQ, you can try at C/system/mail then just browse through the folders.

hope this helps mate! 8)

This did happen to me once, and i got rid of it too. It was pretty simple, but i dont quite remember how.
You could try deleting the file from "Sent" or "Draft" folder in "Messaging"
If not, you could try searching for all files in "Mail" Folder using SeleQ or such, and deleting them.

Dont delete files in mail folder, you could end up with a broken phone,
better to do a hard reset.
And this question has been aswered before, cant remeber the answer, try a search.

Erm....Jyrik..i said.. "Files" not folders. And in a search even with Wildcard *.* you can safely delete those files (You can see its details on seleQ anyway). There ARE some other file types (of unknown type) in mail folder, but "not" shown in a search.
