Mini SD password

Hi ive just got an N73 and got a brand new 2gb mini SD memory card for it. when i put it in the phone it asks me for a password. ive not set one so i dont know what it would be. i didnt think this is normal as normally the user sets the password.
Does anyone know how i could get the password?
cheers for help in advance

Sounds like it might be a used card that someone has returned to the shop (so not really brand new, after all).

A truly brand new card should not have any password nor should it be asking for one.

(Or maybe it is a manufacturing error? Never heard of such like this, but it is possible.)

thats what i thought as past nokias ive had ive had to set the password first.

is there a way of getting the password from the card using the mobile? i cant access it in my card reader on pc either

If it was easy, a memory card password would be a rather useless security feature, don't you think?

yeah true but i was readin about other phones getting the mccstore and it being in there. just thought something like that could be done
