You can use the MiniBoard just like a real keyboard. You have all the keys, the only difference being the input method; text is typed with the movement of the joystick.
The software was developed to make text input easier and more comfortable. This input method is used by many PDAs, but since there�s no stylus you can navigate between the characters, letters and numbers with the joystick and the soft keys.
The left soft key can be used as space key and to activate menu (when held down for longer). The right soft key can be used as backspace key and to switch between modes (when held down for longer). Selecting a character is performed by pushing the joystick. In the menu you can make a new document, save a document, list existing documents, delete documents, switch to full-screen mode, use the document in other applications (such as sending via SMS, saving as note, etc).

We�ve designed MiniBoard to make text input easier. With it�s help you can enter text efficiently by using the joystick and soft keys without using the number buttons.
LEFT SOFT KEY
short held down: Space
longer held down: Menu
RIGHT SOFT KEY
short held down: Delete (same as backspace)
longer held down: Switch between character layers (you can do the same with the keyboard's layers buttons).
JOYSTICK
in motion: Moving between the characters.
held down: Select character.
MENU
New: Create a new document.
Save: Save the current document.
Documents: List the documents created this far (the name is made up from the first few characters of the document).
Clear: Clear the current document.
Fullscreen/Restore: Show/Hide the keyboard.
Jump to notes: Switch to the Notes application of the phone where we can send the created document in various ways (short message, multimedia, e-mail, Bluetooth, infrared) or save it as a note. The Exit button can be used to exit both of the applications.

About: Information about the product.
Exit: Can be used to exit the application.
TIP
It�s recommended to save the document before switching to Notes so changes can be done easily to it.
This might be a bestseller app.
I guess that with the proper training,in time we could get used to this typing method and dont even open our 7650's,ever! 😃
