When trying to sent sms's i recive the message

'General: Memory full. Close some applications and try again.'

I have no applications open and the phone has more than enough storage space. Does anyone know how to fix this or what is causing it?

Thankyou in advance

There were memory problems with early version firmware..what do you have

*#0000#

and also sometimes you will get this message even with latest firmware ..to solve just switch of phone then on again ..

I'm getting this problem too.

firmware v 4.0632.0.38
Turning off and on doesn't sort it.
Booting without the memory card doesn't do it.
Removing / reinstalling SMS accelerator thing doesn't do it.
Deleted all e-mail boxes and messages. Cleared the log. Can't get rid of this message!

As a result, I've not sent a text in weeks. It's pretty expensive now!

Any other tips or tricks I could try?

Thanks for your time,
Pete
