1. Cosmetically - buy a black case (and Tippex a music note logo over the standard multimedia diamond logo :rolleyes😊

2. Storage-wise - buy a 1Gb DV RS-MMC (but a 2Gb would be better)

3. Listening-wise - the bundled N70ME AD-41 headset won't work with standard N70s so buying this won't make your transformation complete.

Joking aside, apart from a few themes and the in-line transport controls in the headset there's no real difference AFAIA.

My phone's a standard N70 with a 2 gig card and an AD-15 adapter in it in which I can use a decent pair of headphones.

Honestly, I don't see big improvements on ME, maybe the sound is a little better compared to a generic N70, but the fact that you cannot configure the multimedia key anymore looks to me like a step back. I'm not a audio professionist, but I hardly can make a difference between the sound of my generic N70 and my friend's N70 ME. Anyway I listen on Philips headphones with modified handsfree and the sound is far better than on the earphones. The only thing that I liked at N70 ME is the black case which realy makes the phone to have a really distinct look.
