Not really new news. I posted a link to them back at the start of November, when they were released to bluetooth manufacturers:

They're not much use at the moment, Microsoft haven't implemented many of the profiles. Hopefully they'll introduce more as time goes on...

and what does this driver basically do?

I have the MSI BT using the WidComm stack under win XP and EVERYTHING works great. I am afraid that by installing this driver it will actually stuff up my perfect settings.
