The Nokia Software updater showed me that a firmware update was available and I fell for it. I patiently updated to V.4.0623.0.42 20-09-2006 RM-92 Nokia 80 (12).
Although I had backed up to card and also thru PC suite backup, when I restarted I was surprised to see that many of the applications that I had loaded had disappeared. I have now managed to reload most of the applications.
But I have not managed the following:
1) Could not get back the Quickoffice Premier V.4 (full editing version) which I had earlier upgraded to via the Quickmanager on the phone. Ihave sent a message to support at quickoffice but have yet to hear from them. I have the Order reference but do not have the License code.
2) I have lost the local plugins on the Mobile Search. Can anybody suggest where I can download the search-local plugins for India, UK, HongKong and other countries.?
Grateful for any the help that I can get on this.
