First, I own a N70 and a N80 (right now).
Second, I know the only way of transferring messages from Series 60 2nd edition phones to 3rd edition phones is via PC suite. And I know you loose the original dates if you do.
Third, I've found a way of restoring the original dates on 3rd edition phones. I'm not bulls**tting. I've tried and it works.
Anyway, here is my question:
Are the 3rd edition phones are sms compatible with other 3rd edition models. For example I have N80 now, but in future I will buy a newer phone, say N95. Can I transfer my messages the old way like in S60 2nd edition? Swap memory cards or tranfer Mail2 under Private (via PC of course).
I really need to know because I will rebuild my entire SMS structure for 3rd edition and I'd like to know if it will be future-proof 😊
