I have had my N73 for 2 months and im experiencing a fair amount of problems.
1. The sms was really slow, which I just found the cure to on nokia website
2. When I recieve an incoming call the mp3 ringtone is distorted and slow, doesnt happen every time about 2 out of every 3 calls, does it on my mates N73 too
3. When I take a photo with the camera the image is just a blue/black blur, looks as if there is a delay in the shutter, happens every other photo some times
4. The phone is very slow, navigating through the menus and doing usual mobile things.
Has any one got these problems are there any fixes you know of. I have heard of the camera problem before and people have been given new phones. Im hopeing there might be new firmware to update mine with

i had the same problem, had to reset phone to factory settings then go from there, i found i had too many applications that were not legit on it and that sent the "73" into a spiral.......😊
Upgrade to the latest Firmware, id recommend the Music Edition, upgraded mine and its fine.
1 - Download NSS and change you product code to 537289
2 - Back you phone up to you memory card
3 - Download NSU and upgrade the Firmware
4 - Change the produce code back to the original if you want, not neccissary though
5 - Restore the backup

thanks!! Where can I get the music Edition firmware? I could only seem to find my original firmware on the Nokia Website. Will this change alot on the phone? Excuse me for being stupid but what is NSS?

NSS is the piece of freeware which allows you to change the produce code, Nemesis Software Suite of something. Once you have changed the code to the one i state in my previous post the Music Edition will be downloaded automatically when you plug your phone into NSU to do the update. Its about a 70mb download so wont take too long with a decent net connection.
ME is mainly loads of bug fixes, but there is an improved music player and a few other minor changes. Much better imo. 😊

I have not had any of these two problems.
Also im not fed up with it, IMO i think when i updated firmware it improved it even more. My camera works fine, but the slow sms was sorted by nokia for me which i did have a problem with.
Doesn't work to change my product code, it says it writes fine, but when I read it its the old... what am i doing wrong?
You gotta check the box under "Enable?", then enter the new code and click Write.
