Contacts missing on the phone after f/w upgrade to n80ie

Hi,

Yesterday I have "successfully" upgraded to n80ie. I have changed product code to euro1 with nss and then used nsu. After restore I have noticed that my contacts are missing (are empty) on the phone. I can see all contacts in PC Suite but I am not able to sync them back to the phone. Has anybody experienced such a problem? Has this something to do that contacts are stored on memory card in different locale (phone was bought in slovenia and before upgrade there was possible to enter some slovenian characters in the msgs and now that is not possible anymore?)

Thx.

After I upgraded mine, the PC Suite does have problems syncronizing the contacts. It just times out.

What I suggest is to select all your contacts within the PC Suite, copy and paste them somewhere in your harddrive. This will create a bunch of .vcf files. Copy all to your memory card under the path "\Others\Contacts" and then import them.

Hope it helps!
