3g browsing on the P990i with O2? — Sony Ericsson P990

Is it possible to set up the P990i to browse the net on 3G on the O2 network?

I have just come back from luxembourg where the local provider enabled all services on Pay As You Go, I have come back to the UK and chose O2 as it has the best signal where I live, now I find that despite the 3G icon appearing on the screen, the auto settings won't work and I don't even seem to have GPRS 😡

Are there any manual settings available for WAP and 3G, I have looked everywhere and can't find them.

Some useful info re O2 tariffs there, but the second link doesn't work unfortunately.

It seems that the P990i does not give you the ability to set up WAP, 3G etc manually, it relies on the operator having a correctly formatted SMS to send, whih O2 don't seem to have got around to doing yet.
