i want to know why my n70 phone can't change font...
i already do what the steps are....
and go to the site wer they talking about changing font of n70....
but it not effective...
nothing happens........='(

i follow all the steps that write it on the forum....
but doest work...
like removing first the font den send the file of gdr. and make a folder name font on c:\system\font\old.gdr
den restart the phone...
but nothing happens...........awtz:frown:

Are your fonts appearing in the GDR creator preview ok?
What happens when you install the gdr file and reboot - anything?
Give us a bit more detail.
As long as you have a GDR font in the fonts folder it will work.
Switch between them by renaming them and making the one that you want to be used appear first in the directory (put a 0 in front of the name).

i create folder name fonts in c:\system
den i put der the gdr. file that i create in gdr creater..........
only one gdr file in the folder of fonts in c:.....
i remove first my font before i put the gdr. file in cp!
then i put the file i created....
then i restart my phone....
and nothing happens stil my font is default....=(
what do i do 2 my n70?
in z:\system\fonts have also gdr file?

i have a question its ok dat when sending the gdr. file on the phone im using mmc
reader and send it to the mail folder and find it using the fexplorer....
and i also find the gdr file and cut den paste it into fonts folder...
bcoz on the symbian-freak forum on the step their it using bluetooth.....
that's ok?!...........
Why don't you put the gdr file straight on E:\System\Fonts ? It should work also from MMC - at least on my N70 it worked.

I believe your n70 might be a chinese version. Having the same problem
trying to replace fonts before .Look around on how to replace the product code
and flash the latest firmware.That did the trick for me and I could randomally replace the fonts that I fancy.
Be warned though that by replacing the PID you will void the warranty.😊

any ideas?
can someone guide me how to change my PID and update the latest firmware version..just like updating N70 to N70 ME...with NSS...and yeah NSS is not able to read any of my phones values...like pid or something
