Can't remove message because it is a .sis file

I uploaded a .sis file by bluetooth to my P990. After I installed the application I couldn't delete the file from messages. Is there a way round this?

I've had similar problems with files sent over bluetooth, especially large files. A reset (and sometimes a second for some strange reason) seems to sort it out.

Thanks. I've tried deleting the file again after reading your message and it worked this time. The phone battery went flat earlier today and it shut itself down. Maybe that has the same effect as your reset!!!!
