ive set it up so that only headers are downloaded but the other day when i was retrieving the headers, the phone decided to download the full emails including the huge attachments.
is this an established firmware bug or am i missing something?
Email problem
I strongly recommend to use ProfiMail for your emails. I had big issues with the standard email application. Could sometimes not delete emails and also it is not possible to download part of the body. If there are big attachements you still want to be able to download the first 10 lines so you know what the email is about without downloading the big things.
One of the previous version of Profimail was a unstable but the current version (2.68) works great.
What I also like about Profimail is that you can hide emails that you have read but which you don't want to delete. By hiding the email read, you keep a better overview of new incoming mails.
Profimail is really well thought trough. The only thing that needs improving is the use of colours. It does not have a flashy interface.
