After having dropped my nokia communicator 9300 from about 3-4 feet height, I checked its functioning and all seemed ok. However, a little while later when I tried using it, found it was completely shut off. I tried to start it up and it failed to complete the bootup process.
I pulled out the batteries and re inserted..but same thing....I even tried to format the device by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+F, CTRL + F and even tried CTRL + RightShift + F while rebooting the phone, it seems not to accept the command.
The strange part is that while bootup, after the Nokia logo it even shows the progress bar at the bottom which indicates the booting process and somewhere at the 15-20% mark...screen flashes once and then moves upto 50% quickly and then the screen goes off. After a while, I am able to startup the phone from the front and use the phone functions normally and I can even access my messages and contacts from the main memory of the phone, however I'm unable to use the communicator features.
Would appreciate if someone could help.
