Hi,
How does this work on the N80? Can't even find it on the menu! Also anyone know if 3 allows its use?
Thanks
paul

To use it, go to select the contact you wish to use it with from the contacts ap, then when the options come up, like voice call, video call etc, chose PTT options, where you get the choice of a one to one call or request callback.

God only knows if it works on 3 though, I have NEVER met anyone in the UK who has ever used it.

Regards,
BHLC

I think it is only available on Orange, and even then no one uses it. But my information might be out of date by now.

No UK networks currently support PTT. Cash is right that the PTT server must be hosted by the network, even PC solutions require that there is a connection to a cellular network somewhere along the line.
If you are based outside the UK, the Wikipedia article on PTT has a list of some providers that support the required functionality.

yeah, I dont know of any UK providers for PTT.

I think the main areas are USA/Canada for PTT server users.
