I was wondering if I could have some advice, I've been reading through some threads on here and noticed a post about slow n80 and changing your Log to 1 or 10 days will speed up your phone.
I've tried this but my problem is that it takes 2/3 mins to send a message, and the problem is, i can't do anything else whilst its sending. It's so annoying.

Hi Kelly, welcome to the forum 😊
The speed increase by changing the log is an increase in the speed of the phone in general, not in the speed of sending the text message.
Do as Ratkat says and you wont have the text sending message delays you have been experiencing 😊..
Seconded (or thirded) Worked wonders for me.
yeah, the above... and changing your SMS to phone memory instead of MMC or vice versa (cant remember, sorry) speeds things up too.
yeah this bug killed me when i had my n80, the patch will sort it, or newer firmware
if your n80 is still v.3, i suggest you firmware upgrade it to v.4 , in v4 you dont need sms accelarator.
If your n80 is v4.. go to to tools, Settings, Network, under netwrk mode, click GSM.
If you want to use 3g or video to video calls, and/or if your network operator supports 3g, switch back to Dual mode.
