Annoying Voicemail Alert when phone is turned on

I am getting a voicemail alert when the phone is first turned on. When I check with both cellular and internet phone voicemail accounts, there were no voicemail. It seems that this alert stays persistent and I have yet been able to clear it. Can any one help me with this? Thanks

Nevermind...To remove alert I did the following:

Menu key > Tools > Settings > Calls > Internet call alert > Off!
