Can any one please tell me witch encoder should i use to make mp4 theath the real player on my e50 can play?
E50 video question
The exact specs of what built-in video and audio formats/codecs are supported by the E50 and other S60 3rd Edition based devices, you can see from the table here: http://forum.nokia.com/video
I looked at theath page and tried a lot of convertors but none of them worked, Real Player says "Cant open ....". I thought someone had maneged to convert a and play a mp4 video.
Well, did you try using 176x144 pixel resolution with 15fps framerate, H.263 video codec and 128Kbps audio with AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB or Real Audio 7 or 8 or 10 audio codecs?
Its only got a 250 Mhz ARM CPU, my 3.2 Ghz P4 averages at 30% during compressed video playback.
We shouldn't expect high frame rate playback from mobile CPUs.
I tried but couldn't make it work
Didn't anyoane out there find a convertor theat works!!!
Did you try eRightSoft SUPER ( http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER ) yet?
Thank you verry much for the super converter. I finally converted an avi to mp4 but the quality si verry poor.
I found a divx player for the phone and a converter witch came with it and the quality is super.
Is any way theath i can make the divx player open the file from the File manager or gallery, without manually opening the player and select the filme?
In theory yes. In practice, the divx player app developer would have to create an additional piece of code called a "recognizer". It would be the job of the recognizer to recognize which app should be launched for a particular file type.
Without the recognizer written and installed on your phone, you're stuck with manually opening the player and selecting the films.
