hi,im just curious if anyones running any performance optimization proggies on your p990i,because im running R9 version of firmware but my menu is still not that fast, also,do you have any idea why the screen light is on while im making a call,im sure this is doing most of the draining of my phones battery, just one more question,if you dont mind, this phone must have a front speaker to be a phone 😃,but it didnt make any sound during the speaker test in the system settings, only the back speaker 😞,sorry for all these questions,im sure everyone here is used to getting alot of curious messages from frustrated p990i users like me,your help would be greatly appreciated, thank you very much 😊

I just hope they address these problems in the next firmware realease(God knows when) ,they could at least put release dates on their phone support page so we dont keep waiting anxiously(just for a release date),its like waiting twice, first for the release date, then for the actual release 😞

yes, I think there are still more to be fixed on P990i....even a simple K750i (non-symbian phone)...SE released 8 updates ... R1A, R1J, R1L, R1N, R1NA, R1AA, R1BC, R1CA... ...for such a complicated phone like P990i....I think there are still a lot of more update in future

well i hope they get their act together soon,i mean theyre such a reputable organization,i mean for me as a first time SE user they made a bad first impression, what about the loyal sony ericsson users, this might make them wanna switch, something must be done immediately because i do believe SE products have alot of potential,i mean the p990i is a great phone, its just the menu speed and battery life problems that are plaguing the market of this product
