Browsing in a bus

Hey Laura.

Use the key pad to do page up and down. If I remember correctly, its in the 3,6,9 # keys, the joystick will just go through the fields as tab.

I wish i had GPRS! :cry:

Yeah i noticed, it's about time the STC woke up and made some services! I mean check this out:

BUT..... The revenues from the Saudi Telecom Company is the second after Petroleum in Saudi Arabias income!!! Believe it or not! The STC makes alot of money!!! I say alot!!! (i'm gonna open me a competitor!) :P

Yeah, One thing bothers me is that do they know what GPRS is for. Why do they make so expensive??? Our carrier here doesn't even bundle it with my usual rate. It's an add on. I think that they should already have a package with GPRS free included. All they know is SMS, MMS, and VOICE. Darn.

Laura I have I did try this.

Use the Keypad to move up,down, left, rigt (Cursor)

Or press CTRL +Q to activate mouse. Point the mouse on the left down/up scroll bar and press SPACE or ENTER to click.

Pressing tab will not help you be quicker.

May be sometime we will have a 9210 forum section for Communicator users. I did not said 92xx because I think this will be available when the new Communicator will be available.

I would'nt be so surprised!! The problem is, it's the only operator around! IT picks it's prices, there's no competition what-so-ever!!! And it's too late for a competitor too! If some new network came on it wouldn't be much something, cause everybody now has a phone, E V E R Y B O D Y!

But if that competitor had GPRS and all those "never to be released in saudi" stuff, it could be a hit ... 😉

It took me 30 mins to get the above message posted on my 9210!
(to Enrique: no I haven't got 7650, I was using my communicator) Starting from the point of logging into internet, then into AAS, then scrolling through all the pages to reach the right one etc. etc.

I really didn't know how to scroll efficiently. Now I realize it's one of those 'read the manual you idiot' -type of questions. 😮ops:
I had the mouse there but it didn't move the page down. The manual tells me I should have pressed Chr+up/down arrows. Pointing to the scroll bar didn't help, but I didn't press anything and next time I will know what to do. Thanks.

But still it's too slow :evil:

Laura, is the manual u`re reading sayng anything about bookmarks?

You can add bookmarks for aas forum most visited by you (I mean those with waffle and 9210 letters)

Just add bookmarks. It will save some time (and money 😉 )

Yeah I should probably do that. This was the first time I even tried to each AAS with my 9210 and I got somewhat frustrated 😞

Was there some talk about text-only-pages? I remember someone suggesting it and RAfe saying that he had been thinking about it.

I know for sure that GPRS is active and working in Saudi Arabia ...BUT it is not public 😞
If you know someone in the STC maybe he can give you the setting for it and of course copy me 😊
