hi guys, i wanted to upgrade my memory for my phone, but i neee 2 know what kind of card it exactly takes, i know is MMC,
but theres many different kinds of MMCs, like RS MMC, n then MMC Mobile, ......... please let me know so i can get the right one for my phone, thx

You need an RS MMC mobile (dual voltage).

does it have to be a DV RS-MMC ( like it has to have "dv rs" b4 the MMC) cuz i cant find these things in the stores so i have to ebay them, n i found some on ebay that say MMC Mobile only, these wont work??/ or they HAVE 2 me "DV RS"????
The main thing is that it has to be an RS-MMC size card, that supports ~1.8V (Volt) operational range.
Old/original MMC cards support only ~3.3V, and the first RS-MMC cards also supports only ~3.3V.
Then the dual-voltage cards were introduced ("DV RS-MMC"😉, which support both ~1.8V and ~3.3V. After that came the "MMCmobile", which also adds optional higher transfer speed support.
The 6680/6681/6682 supports only ~1.8V operation, so it must have either "DV RS-MMC" or "MMCmobile".
As "MMCmobile" is a registered/trademarked brand, if someone sells the card as "MMC mobile" or "MMC Mobile", make sure it really is "MMCmobile" or at least that it is of the correct size and supports ~1.8V.

My 512mb cost about �12 a year ago, and you can prob buy 1gb card for that price now!
ite guys i got another problem, i can get the card but jst before i ordered i came across some interesting stuff
1st of all anybody know if theres a limit on the 6682 for upgrading memory, cuz i read on many forums where ppl upgraded the card n the phone would not read it n other problems, cuz i am about to buy a 1 gig, i wanna make sure it will work fine b4 ordering it, its a kingston by the way

My 1 GB card worked without problems in my brothers 6630, so I don't see why it wouldn't work on 6682 either.
