I have just got a new Nokia N80.
Just have a few questions... Is it possible for it to show more than 1 calendar item at a time on the main screen I cant find anything about this in the manual but wouldnt mind a few of the upcomming appointments there too..
is it possible to change the phone book to sort by first name not last?
apart from that its a grouse phone!

I think the active desktop only shows the first appointment. Once that drops the next one shows... if you need to see what else is on that day you just select it and it shows the days info.
It will tell you you have nothing for the day and something later in the week on 2 lines, BUT if you have something for the day it just drops to one line telling you your first appt.
To display by first name order - Goto contacts -> Options -> Settings -> Name display then select First nm. Last nm
no worries, i think I can live with that - just thought id have a look first and see...
i cant however seem to find a settings in my contact options??
should be under CONTACTS > OPTIONS.
Its the only option I have.

I am trying to remember but somebody else had this issue, I cant remember if it was because of his phone firmware version for his region, or he needed to upgrade his firmware,

funny enough, i searched the forum last night and checked this - i actually have the latest firmware, and i believe it has the IE version??

I am pretty sure this is a firmware issue, not the firmware version, but firmware variant dependant on product code
I have an additional option called "settings" right after sync, which you dont have, this setting allows me to choose the order.
would it be worth taking it to a nokia centre and getting it flashed? i can probably live with it for now, if I was near one at the time id get it done...
