Receive calls while on GPRS

Hi,

I own a M600i and I'm facing this issue wherein, if I am browsing a site via GPRS, I do not get any notification of incoming calls. The caller simply gets a "Not reachable" message.

Is this normal? Is there a setting for this where the phone can put GPRS on hold so that I can receive the call?

This is really hindering the usability of this phone 😞 so please let me know.

Thanks,
Dinesh.

yes, in the m600i adv showed that m600i can receive gprs data when there is call incoming. but when i receive call, gprs data will automaticly disconnect. i dont know what setting are.

hi
To fix it, go to the main menu:

select:

SETTINGS

then

ACCOUNT SETTINGS

then

INTERNET ACCOUNTS

then

in this screen select:

MORE/OPTIONS

and set PREFERRED MODE to 'AUTOMATIC'

(it is defaulted to PS or CS only)

hit SAVE

and then it should all work fine.

montyd, i've allready followed your way, to select to AUTOMATIC. but still cannot receive/sending gprs data, when there is call incoming. its all about firmware problem? cause my fw phone is old. But, i cannot do update firmware by myself
