Bluetooth - quick way to turn on and off?

Hi,

Is there a quick way to turn bluetooth on and off instead of having to go into Menu -> Tools -> Bluetooth?

Thanks

Ian

I have my bluetooth menu set up on to come up when I press left on the joystick. Like you said, saves going through the options everytime. You can set up your standby keys by going Tools>Settings>Phone>Standby mode> Have active standby off and choose where you want it. For the joystick it is know as Navigation key "left/rightetc". For some reason, I have always set my bluetooth to left joystck..??! Select your place you want it and scroll through the huuuuge list of options to Bluetooth.

This does not turn it on and off like if you chose Infrared, as Bluetooth has too many options and bells and whistle. But now you can click your joystick, press your joystick and then it's on/off.

Thanks for the reply but i'm a bit confused by what you mean left on the joystick.

In the Active Standby options, i've got the ability to set "Left selection key" and "Right selection key" which is the buttons which map to the context sensitive left and right at the bottom of the screen and Shortcut 1-6 which is the icons in active standby.

If I press left joystick, it goes backwards to the 6th icon.

Is that what you mean? - you have one of them assigned to bluetooth so you press left, click to open bluetooth and then click to turn on.

Thanks

Ian

If you turn off Active standby, you can define app shortcuts for the joystick, instead.

You can also try voice commands for turning Bluetooth on/off.
