Callergroup madness on Nokia E50?

Hi,

On earlier (non symbian) phone all new contacts were added to the default (and not removable) "unfiled" caller group.

Adding contacts to groups was easy: display "unfiled" and from that view add the contacts to their groups. Adding a contact to a group made it vanish from "unfiled".

Nokia E50: Arghhhh

There is NO "unfiled"group. I have to check EVERY (of my 300+) contacts with multiple keystrokes (joystick-pushes) and get out of that menu, enter another menu, search the contact again and add it to a group.

Madness.

Is there another way to do it that I am missing?
Is there any prgm that can do this better than the build in prgm?

I believe the e50 handles it through Team Suite. You can create your groups through team suite, add/delete members, call, sms, conf. call, e-mail, etc. I think team suite is better because it allows you to select all or part of the group/team you create for any action you want to do.

But then again, your needs may vary.

Thanks for your answers, but with teams: same problem. No view of contacts not belonging to any group (or team in this case).
