I buy e new Nokia E61 and can littel about symbian OS.
The are Symbian 9.
I try open the file whit SIS format buy phone says "The file is not support it" (same like that)... and i can install the file...
i try tree programm one of them is Helix Player (becose i well run ASX file from mms:// )
what is the problem?
an other quesstion...
Where can i restart ALL setting in E61?
The .sis file must have been created for S60 3rd Edition (S60 v3) in order for it to work on the E61.
.sis files for older/earlier versions of S60 will not work.
so you men Helix Player is not for 3rd Editon?
is any other program for play movie (like ASX from mms:// & AVI & WMV) for E61 / 3rd Edition?
There could very well be a Helix player for both S60 3rd Edition as well as S60 2nd Edition. If so, make sure you get the S60 3rd Ed. version and not one for S60 2nd Ed.
I don't think Helix plays WMV files in any case (or does it?).

i dont know Helis Player suppoert the WMV but i think this support ASX from mms:// server....
but know you about a good player sor E61?

I've had a similar problem with my n80. One thing I noticed is that sometimes I'll get that if downloading on the phone but not if I download on my computer and bluetooth it. I think it's related to web servers sending the sis file as text instead of binary or something like that
