Orange TV

Quick question...

Is it possible to get Orange TV on a generic N80 (with a 3G Orange SIM obviously)?

Or is it another case of "you didn't buy the phone from Orange, so tough!" ?

I can't see anything on Orange's web site about any app to download for Orange TV. It just says if you have a 3G phone in their supported list then you can use it, but doesn't say how.

Mind you, this might answer the question... do you need to be on Pay Monthly to use Orange TV?

If the answer is yes, then that means you can only use it on Orange branded 3G phones as Orange refuse to issue 3G sims to Pay Monthly customers who haven't bought a phone from them (as I discovered) 😡

I can get a 3G PAYG USIM, but can't transfer that to Pay Monthly.

Hmm, I'd rather not. Don't want to have everything limited to Orange, just want to try out Orange TV that's all.

Had a look on Orange World dialling via 3G and couldn't see anything.

I think you only get this with Orange branded phones. Oh well.
