r u tmobile customer using GPRS internet?? (not GPRS WAP !)

.....im just trying to find someone who is.

pls let me know if u are. i cant tell if the reason why i cant use webviewer is because the so called access points for GPRS internet are not available for tmobile customers.

at the mo, tmobile deny GPRS is avilable or they offer the service - but u can obviously use it for WAP and i activated a new service on my account which gives me GPRS !??

Seems to work fine using default wap connection but change the IP to
0.0.0.0

iam and ive changed the settings to 0.0.0.0 and it still doesnt work !?

Then maybe you dont have GPRS internet connection, just WAP.
I am not a t-mobile customer, so i dont know.

I'm a t-mobile uk customer and have been using GPRS internet since MAY
I use the wap settings but use 0.0.0.0 for the IP addy.

Funny - T-Mobile deny the existance of GPRS whenever I call them for support, but they still manage to charge me for it every month! 😊

Thou if I were you I would not bother - at 2p a kb it's WAY too expensive!!
I use dialup for webviewer and the call cost comes out of the 'free' airtime.

hey thanx for the reply..... i didnt know u could use ordinary dial up (doh!), so cool.

hopefully, price of GPRS goes down asap !

if you tell t mobile that you have been using GPRS, then they will say that they do have it, however, when they charge you for it, say that if this service is up and running, then they should be able to produce a copy of the settings for you over the air.
