Nokia E50 Music Library sees only 1Gb instead of 2GB MicroSD

Nokia E50's (with Camera) 'Music Library Details' sees only 1Gb Memory card instead of my official Nokia 2GB MicroSD card.

I also noticed the Music Library only removes deleted tracks, but keeps on updating forever and doesn't add any tracks if I copy new tracks to the card.

Can someone tell me is the memory card size hard coded to the Music Library?

Please advise...

I have a Sandisk 2GB Micro-SD and my E50-1 sees the contents just fine, but like yours it also claims it is a 1GB card!

Ironically enough that "Official Nokia" Nokia card is in all likelihood a Sandisk one with more profit tacked on for the boys in Helsinki.

Thanks for the info, so Nokia needs to look in to the size info issue...

Does your music library update fine? Mine keeps updating but doesn't add any new tracks, I even left it on for a couple of hours yestarday, same result.

Will a firmware re-installation help?
