N80 ie memory problem

Since upgrading my n80 to n80 ie I have noticed a memory (ram) problem that I did not have with the standard n80. Every time I open a new app I lose a bit of memory each time. Even when I close every app my memory continuously decreases. It gets to a point where the memory will get down to about 8mb and web browsing becomes too much for the phone to handle. So I'm forced to reboot. I never had this problem before upgrading to ie. Is anyone experiencing similar issues and know what may be the cause in the ie firmware? Is there some way to deal with this other than constantly rebooting?

yup though i havent ramped my N80 that much yet, i have noticed the rapid memory loss

i got tomtom on my fone and a few tunes, and 50 names and numbs i deleted all i could (quick office ect after i changed to ie) but i only got 21mb

im sure i should have more/not be using the 26mb it says i am

Yeah I've noticed that, but mine seems to hover around the 13/14mb mark. Once I get that far it frees up ram when I close apps but I don't know why. I start with 19 odd mb, dunno why it loses this after a while.

I tend to reset a couple of times a day as I switch from dual mode to gsm when I get home to try and conserve battery.
