I have experienced data loss when syncing with pc suite. If you add more than a cellphone to a contact only one will be synced and restored. Also, if you edit the label of a field when you backup and restore it the label shown the default name. Same for the groups.
Is there any way to securely and completely backup EVERYTHING of contacts?

With the latest PC Suite, I think the Content Copier (backup/restore) has some support to that effect (use the same PC Suite to back up the N70 & to restore to N73). Don't loose your N70 before you've tried it, though (I haven't tried such an excercise myself).
Well I have contacted Nokia Tech Support and those things cannot be synced/restored
- Groups of contact
- Renamed fields in contacts
- Some fields in contacts, specially when you have more than one field of the same type.
This applies to the 3 ways of synchronization:
- Using pc suite sync through outlook
- Using the backup/restore program
- Sending the info from a cellphone to the other through bluetooth, without a computer.

I'm using Mobical, quite flexible, but there's others (Zyb and GSMsync), all free.
You need a data connection, so if you don't want to pay for it (like me) use the Nokia Network Bridge app, which will allow your phone to use your PC connection... works flawlessly
