can anyone help me? ive converted some video to mp4 using xillisoft converter but my phone will not play them. when i try to open the video the real player screen appears but then i get a message saying, unable to play media clip. do i need to change some settings in the phone or am i doing something wrong when converting the videos. this is confusing me as i thought the n80 could play mp4 video.

i tried that software and thought it was rubbish, you are better of trying SUPER or Imtoo3gp, hope this helps, pete

You should try using SUPER, it works really well for me. Here's a link to SUPER and a link to the profile settings I use. Remember to change the aspect ratio and framerate to match the video you're trying to encode. I would keep the resolution at 352x288 since the native horizontal resolution on the N80 is 352, you can adjust the bitrate to change the quality and file size of the file. Then the audio settings are pretty self explanatory.

KiN.

thanks for the info peter & kin. just one more thing. do i need to download a player that will play mp4 or will my phone be able to do it?
