N73 Microphone?

Hi everyone,

Ive been a visitor to these forums for a while now, however I have registered today, due to the fact I have a problem, and would really appreciate some help!

Firstly, I own a Nokia N73. Been pretty happy with the phone thus far, however I recently purchased a new all black chasis for the phone, as I think much more of it than the standard silver. The chasis came with no instructions (was an ebay job), so after googling for a while, i found this site with some nice photos on how to strip the phone.

www dot adam.com.au/.../*Nokia%20N73%20Housing%20Removal.htm

The guide although useful, did not contain info on how to remove *everything*, and thus, my problem. I have removed everything I can see, and placed in the new housing. The only problem? My mic won't function now.

Im not totally sure where this is in the housing, but I believe it to be a small round rubber thing with 2 pins coming out of it that connects to the mainboard. I accidently dropped these pins during extraction and lost them. Is there anything I can do to get the handset functioning again?

Any help at all would be much appreciated!

Cheers,
Tom
