Anyone found a better price?
How many times in the past has Expansys quoted some day in the future for the availability of a new device, and been wrong (and changed it when the day has come and gone)?
Not expecting an answer, but over the last several years I remember many, many enthusiastic posts of people repeating Expansys dates and then being disappointed when that didn't actually happen.
Of course, it doesn't mean it is so this time, too, but it could be. 😉
You're probably right N/A, as checking today the date has gone down to 20th March. At least the date change brings it nearer to launch, not further away! 😊
But this time Expansys have publicly said in their forum that Nokia have told them to expect delivery on the 19th (so as to dispatch on the 20th, I presume). I think that previously (like with the Nokia 3650 fiasco) they were just guessing at a date.
Still, I wonder how many they'll sell at that price?!

Well they did supply my N93 when they said they would & that was a pre-order. So maybe your theory isn't so sound.:tongue:
It is not my theory. It is just remembering many posts here and elsewhere of Expansys taking pre-orders or recently announced devices, and availablity dates for them that turned out to be not exactly accurate.
I'm not saying that they're always wrong, but that Expansys doesn't always know what they're advertising, either.
�629.95, What are they thinking? When I first started reading up on the '95 It was expected the price was going to be around 500Euros, but this is almost twice that. If this is the case I might just stick with my 7710 & TomTom.

called voda uk today, they have n95 due on 2nd april, no contract prices as of yet but for the handset only price is...... an amazing �350, i askd him to double check the price and the guy said yep, its �350 for the handset only, no contract just the handset, the n80 was �400 from them and n73 was �350 so its a v good price, the best so far, and the first batch shud be unlockd/unbranded like my n73 and n80 was from them, altho if it is locked to voda its �20 to get the unlock code, it takes 1 - 6 weeks for them to get it, not a bad price.

It seems likely it will be Voda branded. Mind you I managed to get hold of an un-branded N73 when the first batch of those phones came in.

same here, my n73 and n80 was unbranded, first batch, im not too woried bout branding tho as i can use phoenix to flash it to a generic firmware.

pacepowerskill's post is just spam; they don't have the N95 any more than anybody else yet.

Exactly. Expansys is not exactly a quotable source. They lie all the time to get "pre-orders", whatever that means.
Maybe we are due a price war:
Expansys are getting stock tomorrow (Friday 30th March), but these are being taken up with pre-orders.
O2 have them in on 2nd April.
No prices yet but guy reckoned a one-off of �89.99 would be near the mark, providing you have a �35 monthly tariff.
