My E61 had been working perfectly... now all of a sudden, whenever I try to open the default web browser from the active standby screen, it tries to open, hangs for about one second, and then just returns to the standby screen without opening. I didn't change anything recently, it just started happening by itself.
I did a hard reset of the phone, and the browser went back to working normally. But as soon as I restored my previous data and settings (from either the memory card or PC Suite backup) the browser went back to not opening anymore!!
I have tried this several times, with the same result. Can anyone help? Does anyone know what kind of error or setting might cause this to be happening? It is very, very bewildering.
