Images on Memory Cards

This may seem like a dumb question but how does one view images taken with the N80 and stored on a memory card. They don''t appear in the gallery and it is driving me mad trying to work out how to do it, I know the images are there as I can find them by using the file manager but I can't find a way to show them in the gallery.

The Gallery should show them automagically (even too "magically", because it tends to pick up all sorts of pictures and videos from places you wouldn't want it to).

If it doesn't in your case, then something's wrong with the card or the phone.

Have you updated your phone to the latest phone software (firmware) lately?

Thanks at least that suggests I am not bonkers.

I was sure that was the case and I am sure it used to do it, right up till last night. I have no idea what has changed, I have done a soft reset to no avail and am fully up to date with the firmware. The images are on the card just that they cannot be seen in the gallery.

All I can think of, is to copy your files off the card (to your PC), reformat the card and then copy the files back.

If that doesn't help either, try another card, if possible.
