WGS84 to Ordnance Survey Grid Ref Convertion Utility?

Hi All,

Well, I finally upgraded my Nokia 5140 to the 5500. I was just after another 'tough' phone. So long as it did phonecalls and texts I was happy. However, mainly thanks to these fora (and looking up a few terms in Wikipedia), I'm now very happy to have a Symbian phone.

Of particular interest to me is the gps capability of my 5500. I've now got the LD-3W bluetooth gps receiver and have to say I'm very impressed. Easy connection, fast aquisition and seems to work anywhere except a lead lined bunker.

I'm now eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Navicore software.

One thing I've also been looking at is the Viewranger software. The Navicore stuff seems ideal for getting me around the urban landscape but I also enjoy my off road activities. So I'm a big fan of OS maps which the Viewranger package uses.

However, I'm not sure that out in the wilds a 1.7" screen is as handy as a paper map in some polythene.

So what I'm really after is a way of converting the WGS84 co-ordinates returned by the phone into OS grid refs. There are some decent web site converters but does anyone know if there's a utility that can be run on a Symbian phone?

Any assistance gratefully received.

On a totally unrelated note I can confirm that the 5500 will take a 2G memory card quite happily.

Regards,

Al
