Hey, my P800 has recently developed two related problems and any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated...
My P800 has stopped displaying an envelope or making a sound when receiving a SMS- i've only been finding them by chance by going into my inbox. Now for the last day, in addition to this, I'm not getting my SMS's at all until I turn the phone off and turn it on again (still no envelope/ alert)
I have removed the battery and SIM card a couple of times but dont know what else to try...
I have a P800 when i want call the numbers a not appearing.Please can anybody help me to solve this problem.

I have exactly the same problem. Does anyone know a solution? This phone has been my best friend for many years and I hope it will remain that in the future as well.
Restoring an old back-up solves the problem temporarily.

Hi folks im new (only just joined)
I have a p800 and I have had the same problem. I found it relates to when I have a large amount of texts in my inbox, sent & drafts etc. I deleted a load of texts and it solved the problem for me.
let me know if it works for you too.
p.s. get rid of any mms you dont need (or save) from your box too.
