XMPP / Jabber / Yahoo client for E61

Hi,

Very niche request here, but I'm looking for software that:

- Supports private XMPP/Jabber servers (ie. not locked to Googletalk)
- Supports Conference within XMPP ('Multichat'😉
- Preferably free, and a small footprint (ie. prob. J2ME)
- Ideally, supports Yahoo IM as well

So far, I've tried a few:

GoTalkMobile - is locked to Google
TipicME (S40 J2ME client) - runs OK, but reports GPRS Connection error when trying to connect
Bombus - runs OK, but cannot connect to server (or reports 'failed'😉; suspect bug
JabberMixClient - works!

So JMC is great, but is a little time-consuming; there's no conference autojoin, but you have to type the Room name in each time, and the history download once in the room is around 3s per line

Bombus looks slicker (eg. autoconnect, and potentially auto Conference login), but the connection failure is blocking me for now.

Does dnyone else have a similar system working well?

OK - update for anyone who considered using JMC. It's actually not so great:

- Any event (eg. user entering/leaving room) causes it to error, and stop displaying any more messages posted to the room
- You can only type one line at a time, and send after each; it prevents text entry of more than one line
- If anyone else posts a line while you're writing, it clears your buffer and you have to start again

So - pretty unusable in it's current state!
