Help with New N73 [upgraded from N70]

Hello again you helpful people.

Is it sad that I am all excited about receiving my new phone😉

Anyway, got it yesterday and resisted the urge to play until I had properly charged it.

However I have a couple of queries and a couple of moans 😡

Firstly, can I transfer text messages from my old N70 to the N73? and if so how?

Have managed to do the texts now, my old PC suite wouldn't back up messages [even with the software update] just tried hooking the N70 with the new PC suite and its worked

Secondly, I have treated myself to tomtom on memory card, which I have received and installed, is it possible to transfer the tomtom to another memory card and use that card both to run tomtom and store music etc? again, if so how?

Finally [for today] I have transferred my gallery pics and set my wallpaper, but it is showing as a small centred tile rather than full screen as it was on the N70, I thought it may not auto resize to fill the larger N73 screen but it is much smaller than it was, have I missed something?

Have also managed to sort the wallpaper, edited in PSP then reuploaded, a bit of a long winded way compared to the old wallpaper creator, but successful

Now for the grumbles, is it just my phone or is it normal to have to almost break your nails getting the mem slot cover open? and why oh why have Nokia changed the memory card format so that I now have to purchase a new card rather than just transfer the one I paid £40 for only a year ago [mutter, mutter, grumble, grumble 😊 ]

Oops, I fibbed, 1 more quick question, do you know a ballpark figure that the N70 would be worth if I were to try to sell it?

TIA and sorry for the multitude of questions

my new memory card has now arrived, am tempted to just back up the card that tomtom came on and then restore to the new card, but don't want to stuff things up.

If anyone who knows the right way to transfer the tomtom I would be very grateful.

I sold my old n70 for 65 and it had quite a few scratches on it. I think if your phone is like new you should get around 80.. its still quite a popular phone for people

Thanks bhavs

I listed the N70 on eBay and got 2 messages within 5 hours, one asking to end auction and sell to him [as highest bidder - not off eBay] and the other asking for a BIN price.

This threw me a bit as eBay only had 2 N70's listed and both were only at the 30 mark, but I chanced my arm and said I would put it on a BIN for 70.

Only 1 of the responded but I got 70 plus postage, which I think is pretty fair, it went towards paying for the tomtom 😊

Now if only someone can help me with my other queries I'll be a very happy bunny. 😊
