LOUSY Sony Ericson Update Service

Ok, i have a sony ericson p900.

i'm trying to upgrade my firmware. i've already downloaded and installed the update service. but everytime the window says to turn off the phone and put in the cradle..... after 1 minute the program closes automatically.

i already uninstalled it, and downloaded the intaller again, intaLLED it again but still no luck

the application just closes automatically. help?

Hello.

You should try to deactivate USB connecting while using the update service. It seems to be stupid but there is an conflict between docking an the update-system. Unmark the usb in the telephone-connect-manager and drop battery, reinsert battery an place the phone in the dock.
