Did my boyfriend look into my nokia n80??

Hi all, this is the story -

Yesterday, before I went to the showers, I slided close my Nokia N80 and locked the keypad. When I came out of the showers (after more than 10 min), i noticed my Nokia N80 screen was lit up (in screen saver mode). However, the keypad was still locked and the phone was not slided open. The battery level was low, if this info helps.

I started to observe my phone that day, and I've never seen my Nokia N80 screen light up on its own. Once I slide it close and lock the keypad, the screen dims after at most a couple of minutes.

I suspected my boyfriend slided open my phone and looked into it. I confronted him, but he vehemently denied doing so.

My dear friends, the question I have for you is:

Is it possible, under any circumstances, for the Nokia N80 screen to light up on its own (without someone actually sliding it open)?

Ultimately, I wish to find out if my boyfriend looked into my phone. Not that I was really mad at him for that - but I would be really angry at him if he lied.

Thanks for helping!

like i said in the other forum you posted this on, it may have been a low battery warning, this can cause the screen to light up.

I agree with this answer...you already mentioned your battery level was low...I hope your not giving your boyfriend a reason to check your phone ...😉

There can be one reason. If you have set an option to receive reports for the text or mms you receive then the light will go up on its own even in lock mode

hahahahaa....

I was more taking the piss about coming on the forum with it...

Im starting to lose patience with it anyway.... now they are making the EURO Ed less backward compatible! :@

That's what i thought at first... but after some observing my phone (on low batt) for a while, I didn't see such a behavior take place :frown:

Thanks anyway 😉

SPetz, I probably will end up with a 360 as well as a PS3. I have over 100 PS2 games (thanks to working for both Eidos and EA at points in my career) so its a bit of a large library to just loose, hence why Im pissed about the minimal backward compat. Plus, they are releasing their compat list untill Euro release date... :@

AHAHHAH poor fella...he should get the hell outta that one!

and this is probably a total bullshoes thread anyway... :@

AHAHAHA she's really gettin on this aint she lol...calm down girl and the only reason you are afraid id because u had ur other boyfriends pics and number in their?!😎
