How to overwrite contacts database?

Hi everyone!

Because my bluetooth is now working, i am unable to connect pc suite and restore my data!!! For this reason, i transfered my contacts.cdb file to my phone from another phone and now with SeleQ, i am trying to overwrite the existing one with my one. But Symbian does not allow this. I guess it is write protected. How can i remove the older contacts.cdb file and copy my contacts.cdb file to c:\systems\data folder?

Thanks in advance guys!!!

p.s. I contacted Nokia Service and they told me that bluetooth "system error" is a common problem in 7650 and it is solved by uploading the software again. I will post the results to here on Saturday.

I think what you should do is to install nokia data suite ... guess you already install it by now ... and use the utility backup-contact ... and you will get contact.cdb in your computer ( use search ) then replace that cdb files with the one you want and use the utility restore contact only ... hope it will work for you 😃 😃

Would you please tell me, how to fix System Error in my Bluetooth System ?

Thanks before and Best Regards,
Adam

Take the phone to the nearest NSC,the will fix it.

As for overwriting the contacs file, try using system tools from psiloc to start the phone in flight mode, then you can overwrite the contacs file.

In the future do a search, this question has been answered many times before.
