Can't put 3250 back together!!

5 replies · 4,902 views · Started 24 February 2007

Hey guys, gonna list a couple of problems here.

Today I've been dismantling my girlfriends 3250, reasons being that it needed a new case and that the navigation button doesn't go directions, it just types in numbers for some reason when it is moved.

Anywhoooooo, the top section I dismatled fine, checked all the plugs and everything is secure. Now, after putting it into the new case I am having REAL big problems getting the screws back in. The screws in this phone are quite long and about half way through they get REALLY hard to tighten, so hard that I can no longer do it.

Also on the lower part of the phone, how do I get the camera out.

Just to recap, heres the things I need answering:

1. Why does the directional button not work correctly
2. Is there a good way to get the screws in? (I also can't get them out again lol)
3. How to get the camera out

Thanks guys,

Ben.

I've never dismantled a 3250. If you have a Nokia repair center nearby, they might help (for a fee, of course, because putting together a device that the user has taken apart is not covered by warranty).

Other than that try to see if you can find dismantling instructions on the net.

i have the assembly / disassebly pictures for the 3250 on my laptop.
ill try to zip them and link you:icon14:
