Hi Everyone,
I have a problem of my E50. Every times I switch off the phone at night and turn on the next day, it can't show the "real" time of SMS recevied in this period.:con?
All the time of these SMS show the time which I turn on the phone. This is not the case for all my previous Nokias. I tried another SIM card from another service providers but same happened.
Is this the problem of S60 or my wrong setting. Could anyone help?
Thanks

Hello. This isn't a problem. Its there even for me. In most of the symbian phones it's like this. In the s40 phones it shows the actual recieved time. To view the actual time of message sent, select the message and then click on options to go to message details. Hope this helps. I do this way to check actual time of messages if the phone is off or goes out of network for a while and connects back.

Why do you switch it off? From the first symbian phone I used (7610) I realised that it is better to always keep on and just restart once every two weeks or so unless something hangs. Rebooting consumes large amount of battery and daily switching on / off seems unnecessary.
On my e50 I just use the '#' key to switch the profile to silent and back again to general when I wake up.
slight problem there..
I tried using the # key to switch it to silent mode, and it just wont switch..
any help

Hi!
I prefer to switch my Nokia E-Series mobile off. And I find very annoying that my E70 only displays the time when the SMS was recieved and not the time it was sent.
Regarding absi's suggestion: Even if I go to message details, the Nokia only gives again the time of reception and not the time of sending.
How can you change this?
Thanks, jrrp
