Firstly I'd like to express a grateful thank-you to those who provide this resource, which has been extremely valuable since I acquired an E61 some time ago.
I've just bought the Western Europe DVD of TomTom Navigator 6, which I want to install on my E61. But I'm having trouble working out how to go about it. Loading the DVD starts TomTom HOME but this doesn't recognize the E61 as a TT device when it's connected via PCSuite, which is what I assume it wants. Trying to use the install routine in PCSuite doesn't help either, since although it can see the TomTom DVD it doesn''t recognize any files it can transfer. The contents of the DVD don't suggest any obvious tactic and the TomTom manual is monumentally unhelpful.
We appear to have an impasse. Any insights most welcome.
