i using nokia n70 for 6 months, want to copy inbox messages into PC for free memory in phone. i using pc suite for n70 included in sales pakage.

the inbox folder of message shows nothing in PC monitor (connecting pc suite via USB cable) as though there about 100 messages in inbox of phone. In PC all folders (i.e. inbox, outbox, draft, sent) are ahown seperately, but it shows that no content in them.

i dont want to delete the messages as it is valuable to me.

Any solution?

Try to install an app via PC with Nokia installer. If it doesn't work, you won't be able to store your messages, as this requires instalation of a plugin on your phone. I hit this problem too. The strange thing is that after FW update I was able to install apps with Nokia installer, but now I'm not able anymore and I don't have a clue on what the hell happened.

Sajoy,

You could give Nokia Lifeblog a go. If I remember rightly, this can create a timeline of your text messages, pictures etc. N70s should be able to get it free.

You will need to be able to install it on your phone via Nokia PC Suite though I would have thought.

Otherwise another solution would be to get a [bigger] memory card and set your phone's options to save messages on the card, instead of the phone:

Message>Options>Settings>Other>MemoryInUse

Or you can use MsgSaver from JJL. It's a nice piece of freeware which saves all you messages into a text file.
