I recently did a hard reset on my 9500 and ever since, it is asking for a password for the memory card. Never asked before, and besides, I did a hard reset which formats the 9500. Why is it suddenly asking for a password? I have has this for 1 year and it never asked this (I also never formatted the 9500 before). I never set a password for my MMC card on my 9500 either. Your help is very much appreciated. Thank you.

Did you play with the remote locking feature? It automatically also sets the MMC password to the remote locking password (first 8 characters, if I recall).
Thank you, as a matter of fact, I did use the remote locking feature and remembered the password and managed to unlock the card. How can this be completely shutdown? Just to see if I can repeat the issue, I did another hard reset and it still asked. Can this be disabled? It still asks for the password, and thanks to you, at least I can access the MMC.

Try disabling the remote locking feature and remove the MMC password.
